I am not a great one for remembering people's birthdays. But since Carol's birthdate is "code" for proving my relationship to her at Hopkins, I will never forget it!!!
So . . . on this date I just want Carol to know that we are all sending her oodles of love, prayers and wishes for a happy day today!! We love you girlfriend!!
And to the many, many friends of Carol's who have donated to the Johns Hopkins Pancreatic Cancer Research fund in honor of her birthday I want to say THANK YOU!!!

There's cause for celebration on so many fronts on this day. We folks here in CA would love to shower our west coast birthday love on you tangibly and in person, but we will entrust that to some of our eastern counterparts. :o) (Don't you just love those stealth doorstep visits?) Although separated by miles, we are devoted to prayer and thanksgiving for you, Carol. "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." And we are rejoicing!
