The Storybook Wedding

I want you to hear the details of the wedding from Carol. But in the meantime, I know you are all eager to see the beautiful bride and GORGEOUS mother of the bride! The wedding was perfect in every way. The ceremony was at the water's edge . . . Christine and Erik flanked by a very good looking wedding party and lots of hydrangeas. The sun set over the beautiful tent, also by the water. And when night fell the sky was filled with a fabulous display of fireworks!

Your many, many prayers were heard . . . and answered! God gave Christine and Erik a lovely day, a beautiful sunset, a full moon over the water and a wedding to remember!

Carol, you look absolutely beautiful, as we knew that you would. Christine -- well, just amazingly radiant. And Frank, you just never seem to change, ya handsome guy! 8. Iknow, I know you're not supposed to comment on your own blog but I couldn't resist when I saw my west coast friends on tonight! I have to forewarn you..I just send a long, over-detailed MOM wedding day blog to Sally to post when she wakes up tomorrow. it is so over the top, but I couldn't resist just sharing, sharing, sharing! Howie, we have a zillion pictures that friends took, but I was thinking I would wait until Laura Thorpe puts her "real" photos up on her website. But I'm telling you...we have some great amateur photographers as friends. I sent a few to Sally that she will post...INCLUDING photos of SALLY our Rock Star! she is an early riser b/c she is so nicely disciplined about excercising each morning. she in my inspiration. although, I have to say I just met Andrew at the frig, both of us foraging for food. He took up some wedding food leftovers, I went straight for the ice cream/sorbet mixture! well, I'm off to bed. JH in the morning.
    love!

  9. Me again....I am such a dork, but one more thing! I just noticed...if you click on the photo of Christine above and make it big...see that lace hanky in her bouquet. My grandma, my mom, I, and now Christine all carried that same hanky in our wedding bouquets. ...tidbit!
    now..good night!
    love,
    Carol

  10. God's grace is sticking out all over the wedding reports. And His glory shines in the expressions on the faces of the Mother of the bride, the Father of the bride, and the Beautiful Bride herself. Thank you for sharing your praise to the Lord with us. It is an inspiration to all.
With much love and many prayers...
