  8. Carol: Miracles to happen -- if you receive this. This is my very first blog transmittal. I hope it makes it! But then, Johns Hopkins has miraculous results very single day. I agree with Patty -- you are surely covered in prayer. In fact, I offer mine as well. However, being a retired Catholic, I've sometimes questioned if they're heard. But I think in your case, God would certainly hear my prayers for your difficult journey and a hopeful future. After all, he gave us Johns Hopkins. I've been thinking about you a lot since I heard about your situation, and I offer all my best thoughts to you as you go through this. (If quantity of thoughts and prayers help, you're in!) But you surely, surely have a wonderful family and terrific friends to give you hope and courage. But then, I think you and yoiur family have an abundance of courage. What a wonderful friend who would set up a blog so we can all check in with you and your progress. With love and a big hug, Virnell

  11. Carol, Love and prayers continue to pour forth from Houston and Doha. I think you are definitely swathed in a huge fluffy love & prayer quilt. Each square is a prayer from a friend and it is stitched together with all our love to you. xoxopam
