No Longer Yellow

Another day at Hopkins. Had a stent implanted to open up the bile duct and within hours my rosy complexion was back! Spending the night in the hospital. Liver biopsy tomorrow, then home. PET scan confirmed need for chemo, so starting Wednesday bright and early . . . for treatment and participation in Dr. Dan's clinical trial.

  3. Carol,
We now have a new morning habit. After reading The Times Colonist, our daily newspaper, we read The Blog. It gives us a measure of comfort to follow your footsteps. When photos were included, we were excited and when the one of your family and YOU was included, we were over the moon. We needed to see you. When we think back to July and that hot summer day on the beach at Qualicum with Patty and Gerry, we're reminded of all the photos you took of Uncle Barney/ Granddad and are so greatful. Be brave.

    With love and admiration,
the other Carol Marshall and David.
